This Privacy Policy explains how EmbedReply (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use our website, dashboard, and chatbot services.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Account information — such as name, email address, and password when you create a dashboard account.
- Website content — pages and materials from sites you choose to crawl so the chatbot can answer from your content.
- Chat and booking data — messages and details visitors share with the chatbot (for example contact details for a booking).
- Billing information — payment-related data processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Calendar connections — if you connect Google Calendar or similar services, we store OAuth tokens needed to check availability and create events, with your permission.
- Technical data — basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and reliability.
How we use information

Google user data
If you connect Google Calendar or Gmail, EmbedReply uses Google APIs only to provide the features you enable: listing calendars you can write to, creating or updating booking events, and sending visitor booking emails from your Gmail account. We do not sell Google user data. You can disconnect these integrations in the dashboard. Google’s own policies also apply to your Google account.
Limited Use compliance: The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs (including Google Calendar and Gmail) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google Workspace user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or foundational AI/ML models. Google Calendar and Gmail data are not sent to third-party AI providers for model training. Our chatbot AI processes site content and visitor chat messages to answer questions and book appointments; it does not ingest your Google Calendar event contents or Gmail mailbox for AI training or secondary purposes.
Sharing
We may share data with service providers that help us run EmbedReply (for example hosting, email, and payment processing), only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
